The basic versions of the Tesla Model 3 will be able to accelerate to 96 km / h in 6 seconds. However, during the presentation the head of Tesla Elon Musk has promised to launch on the market and more powerful versions. "In Tesla we do not do slow vehicles", - said Musk.

Price for the Model 3 will start from 35 000 dollars. For comparison: Tesla Model S costs 75 000 dollars. Not surprisingly that the application for the Model 3 has already left more than 115 000 people. However, this electric sedan gets to their owners only at the end of 2017.
It is said that its competitor may become an electric Tesla hatchback Chevrolet Bolt, presented at the beginning of 2016-th. The cost of the electric vehicle will be comparable to the price tag of Model 3, but Bolt goes on sale earlier.
